OUR STORY

Erth Stone started with a straightforward idea: the natural beauty we’ve always loved in the mountains and lakes of North Wales should be something people can enjoy at home, not just out on a walk. After years spent exploring those landscapes, we developed a real appreciation for how stone shapes the places we’re drawn to — full of character, naturally balanced, and connected to the landscape it comes from. That simple understanding still guides everything we do.

What began as a small team in Cheshire with a shared passion for Welsh slate and natural stone has grown into an office and yard supplying landscapers, garden designers, garden centres, and homeowners across the UK. Even as we’ve expanded, our focus hasn’t changed: create high‑quality stone pieces that feel honest, timeless, and true to the landscapes that inspired them.

WHAT WE DO

We specialise in natural water features and decorative garden stones, crafted to bring a sense of calm and natural beauty to outdoor spaces. Our range includes premium water fountains, striking boulders, rockery, chippings, and bespoke pieces, all designed to elevate garden designs and landscaping projects. Being based in Cheshire gives us direct access to North Wales, sourcing some of the finest slate and stone.

We hand‑select durable, high‑quality materials and craft them into products in our yard, where every piece is cut, sawn, and pre‑drilled with care. The result is a collection of beautifully made products ready for both residential gardens and professional landscape builds. Whether you’re creating a space for you to enjoy or shaping a full garden design for your client, our landscaping products are made to bring your ideas to life with long‑lasting quality.

That landscape shapes more than our aesthetic — it shapes our approach. The colours, the textures, the way stone settles into the earth over time all guide how we choose, cut, and finish every piece. We look for balance, for authenticity, for that quiet sense of belonging you only get from materials that feel connected to where they came from. It’s why we favour clean lines over trends, and why we let the stone speak for itself. When a piece feels grounded, natural, and effortless, that’s when we know it’s right. Our work is simply an extension of the landscape that inspires it.

A SMALL TEAM COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABILITY

We have intentionally stayed as a small business because it keeps us close to the work. Every product passes through skilled hands, from the moment the stone is chosen to the final finish. That hands‑on approach is what gives our pieces their refined, natural feel — built to last and made with care. We take pride in the details. We take pride in doing things properly. And we take pride in seeing our stone become part of the spaces people enjoy every day.

Working with natural materials comes with responsibility. At Erth Stone, we work with the earth every day, and we never forget the landscapes and ecosystems our materials come from. In partnership with Good Api, Eden Plus and Plastic Bank, each purchase funds one tree planted and removes five plastic bottles from waterways — helping restore ecosystems and protect the environments that inspire us.
