Natural slate hollolith water features are distinctive garden features created from genuine slate with a large central opening. Their sculptural form creates a natural picture-frame effect, allowing views, planting and surrounding landscaping to become part of the feature itself.

When used as a water feature, water is pumped through the central opening to create a gentle bubbling or flowing effect that adds movement and sound to the garden.

Hollolith Sizes & Garden Design

Our slate hollolith water features are available in a range of heights, typically from approximately 600mm to 900mm, with larger pieces available from time to time.

Smaller holloliths work well in patios, courtyards and compact planting areas, while larger pieces create stronger focal points in lawns, gravel gardens and landscaped spaces.

Their distinctive central opening makes them particularly well suited to contemporary gardens, Japanese-inspired gardens, minimalist landscapes and naturalistic planting schemes.

Pre-Drilled Water Features & Installation

Our hollolith water features are pre-drilled and designed to be paired with a compatible water feature kit.

Water feature kits are sold separately. Compatible kits include the reservoir, grid, pump and hose required to create a recirculating water feature system.

Because natural slate holloliths can be heavy, suitable access and installation equipment should be considered before positioning larger pieces.

Holloliths For Landscaping

Holloliths can be used as standalone water features or incorporated into larger garden and landscaping designs. They work particularly well with decorative gravel, cobbles, planting, rockery stone and other natural materials.
